Evan Popoff, MSc

Evan Popoff is the Director of Biostatistics at RainCity Analytics and has 10 years of experience in biostatistics and health economics and outcomes research. Prior to joining RainCity Analytics, Evan held positions of Director of Statistics at Broadstreet HEOR and Research Statistician at Precision Health Economics and Redwood Outcomes.

Evan’s specialty is indirect treatment comparisons, having conducted numerous network meta-analyses, MAICs, STCs, and matching models in many disease areas including oncology, HIV, diabetes, migraine, and psoriasis. Evan also has experience with real world evidence studies and health economic modelling. He has a passion for coding and data visualization and has developed R packages and dynamic data visualization interfaces using R-Shiny. Evan has coauthored over 50 peer-reviewed articles and published in journals such as Lancet HIV, BMJ, Blood, and AIDS.

Evan holds a BSc (Honours) in Mathematics and Economics from the University of British Columbia and an MSc in Statistics from the University of British Columbia.
